As Real Madrid travel to FC Zürich for their first Champions League group stage game this coming Tuesday, new recruit Xabi Alonso could use the opportunity to boost his FTBL rating, which at the moment stands at 142.97 points.
Alonso will benefit from an automatic credit of 3.60 rating points in our system as a result of the Confed Cup game lost to the U.S. by Spain. If the Spain international is able to score in the game, he could move considerably up in the FTBL Top 23, where his primary rivals face tougher planks to beat.
In Real Madrid’s recent 3:0 win over Espanyol in La Liga action, Alonso played the entire game and picked up 15.50 rating points in our system.
