The Inter Milan - Barcelona matchup in the group stage of the Champions League on Wednesday could well center on the showdown between two rival world-class strikers--Cameroonian Samuel Eto’o and Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic--who, after the bittersweet deal that saw them traded in opposite directions between the two clubs in the off-season, can be assumed to be eager to prove who among them is best. Both are currently in the top tier of the FTBL World Ranking of strikers, with Ibrahimovic (195.59 points) trailing Eto’o (200.52 points) by a just few points.
The Cameroon international will go into the game with a plank of 15.80 rating points to beat, while the Swede will need to clear a lower bar of 8.91 rating points.
Eot’o will also go into the game having scored in each one of his last three appearances, while Ibrahimovic scored in La Liga last Saturday against Getafe. The competition between the two promises to be an entertaining sideline to the game.
