Barcelona’s up-and-coming star
Sergio Busquets has captured the number two spot in the FTBL World Ranking of players under 21 years of age.
In the Catalan giants’ 5:2 drubbing of struggling Atlético Madrid in La Liga action yesterday, Busquets earned 16 rating points to take his overall FTBL rating to 101.95 points and move three positions up the ranking.
Busquets now trails only Werder Bremen’s Mesut Ozil, who has a rating of 112.77 points at the moment. But Ozil will face a plank of 12.5 rating points this evening in a tricky away game against Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. If Bremen lose, Busquets could take the lead in the ranking.
