Young Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini (pictured) returned in the top tier of the FTBL World Ranking of U-21 midfielders after helping Everton squeeze a 2:1 win at BATE Borisov in the Europa League yesterday.
The victory was earned in a bruising encounter, with Fellaini, who has rediscovered top form, emerging in 2nd place in the FTBL World Ranking of U-21 midfielders with a tally of 91.14 points. It is worth noting that the Belgian’s overall FTBL rating has increased by a whopping 60 points in the last 4 games alone!
In our ranking of Belgian midfielders, Fellaini has pushed aside Ajax’s Jan Vertonghen (85.17 points) to claim the top spot. Considering that he will be automatically credited 1 rating point in the coming match, a surge to the top echelon of the English Premier League cannot be excluded.
