Salzburg’s 2:0 shock home win over Villarreal in the Europa League yesterday had much to do with the productive work of forward Marc Janko, who once again put his mark on the scoresheet with a goal. He continues to sit at the top of the FTBL ranking of Austrian strikers with an overall rating to 97.96 points.
But that rating actually shrank despite the victory, since Janko fell short of his plank for the game. He lost 13.32 rating points but still managed to hold on to the top spot, holding at bay Wolverhampton Wanderers’s Stefan Maierhofer (65.16 points).
