Chelsea skipper and England anchorman John Terry will have a chance to return to the top of the FTBL world ranking of defenders when the Blues travel to Aston Villa on Saturday.

Terry, who topped the ranking for the whole of summer in one of the FTBL’s most prestigious charts, now has an overall FTBL rating of 119.84 points and even had to languish out of the top 6 for a while.

Now, everything appears set for a return at the top: if Chelsea win without conceding a goal, Terry is certain to vault back to the top. He is already guaranteed the 3 rating points he dropped in the Blues’ 1:3 loss to Wigan Athletic.
