For playing the entire game without substitution the Brazilian earned 15.40 rating points in the FTBL system, boosting his tally to 104.79 points. He is now in 25th place in our world ranking of midfielders.

Diego has also captured the 4th spot in our ranking of Brazilian midfielders, right behind Hamburg’s Ze Roberto (109.05 points) and Sevilla’s Renato (109.68 points). The battle for the top spot promises to be interesting.
