Chelsea’s Portuguese star Deco (pictured) broke into the FTBL Top 23 (our list of the world’s top 23 football players) for the 3rd time since we have been tracking his performances after the Blues trounced Bolton Wanderers 4:0 yesterday in the Premier League.

Deco’s first two forays in the Top 23 took place during his Barcelona days. His overall FTBL rating was then in the neighborhood of 120-130 points.

The former Barcelona star scored one of Chelsea’s 4 goals to boost his overall FTBL rating by 14.84 points and break into the Top 23 with a tally of 124.88 points.

The Portugal international’s current rating is his best in the past 14 months. He is now 7th in our world ranking.
