Chelsea’s Cote d’Ivoire star Didier Drogba (pictured) returned to European action yesterday with a double as the Blues drew 2:2 against Atlético Madrid in Spain to qualify for the next stage of the Champions League without a single loss.
Drogba has scored 4 goals in 3 games in a row. His first yesterday came in the 82nd minute as he headed in a cross to level the game on score. He grabbed the second 5 minutes later to put the Blues ahead, before the host fought back with a stoppage-time goal.
The Cote d’Ivoire international earned a whopping 24 rating points to take his overall FTBL rating to 191.66 points. He is now 2nd only to Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo (205.03 points) in the FTBL world ranking of strikers. He will face a plank of just 9 rating points in his next game.
