Inter Milan’s Brazil internationals Júlio César (pictured) and Maicon will go into today’s Champions League group stage game against Dynamo Kyiv as the world’s top goalkeeper and defender, respectively, in the FTBL ranking after Chelsea’s Petr Cech and John Terry dropped following yesterday’s 2:2 draw at Atlético Madrid.
The 2 goals conceded by the Blues reflected immediately on Cech’s and Terry’s overall FTBL ratings: the Czech international could not beat the plank of 11.25 rating points he faced in the game, while Terry fell short of his plank of 17.25 points.
In today’s game against the Ukrainian champions, César will face a high plank of 14.60 rating points to beat, while Maicon will have to clear a more daunting 20.60 rating points.
César has an overall FTBL rating of 122.64 points at the moment, while Maicon has 125.95 points.
