Galatasaray’s Australian midfielder Harry Kewell (pictured in the foreground) grabbed the #1 spot in the FTBL ranking of Australian players after the Turks’ 3:0 away win at Dinamo Bucharest in the Europa League yesterday.

Kewell scored one of the goals, replacing goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer (77.65 points) at the helm of the ranking as Fulham fell to AS Roma 1:2 in the same competition yesterday.

The former Liverpool man earned a whopping 25 rating points to take his overall FTBL rating to 86.63 points.
