With a tally of 150.60 points at the moment, Arsenal’s Russian international Andrei Arshavin currently outranks Manchester United’s star Wayne Rooney on the FTBL list of best forwards in the English Premier League. But does the Russian have a real chance of lasting in that elite group?
Arshavin has a fair chance, but a lot will depend on how he performs when Russia take on Slovenia in their World Cup 2010 playoff games on November 14 and 18: in those two crucial games for Russia, Arshavin will have a combined plank of 18 rating points to beat, which means he will need at least one win to remain static in the ranking, and two if he wants to advance.
Arshavin participated in Arsenal’s 4:1 demolition of Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English Premier League yesterday with the last goal, forth goal. He picked up a whopping 21.54 raging points in the FTBL system.
