In a fantastic encounter at Olympique Lyon’s Stade Gerland yesterday in the French Ligue 1 in which both teams shared 10 goals (5:5), Olympique Marseille’s Brazilian Brandão (pictured in a blue shirt) came out as the big winner in the FTBL ranking as he picked up a whopping 25 rating points and claimed the No 2 spot in our ranking of strikers in France with a tally of 141.14 points.
The Brazilian scored one of Marseille’s 5 goals, but his high take in the game is explained by the fact that his plank to beat going in was a mere 0.2 rating points.
In our ranking of Brazilian strikers, Brandão is now second only to Manchester City star Robinho (145.02 points).
