Manchester United’s England striker Wayne Rooney was able to glean approximately 12 rating points in the FTBL system as the Red Devils trashed an Everton weakened by injuries 3:0 in the English Premier League yesterday.
Despite again failing to score (he has scored just 1 goal in his last 10 games), Rooney was able to stop his recent slide in the FTBL rankings: he will face a combined plank of 27.53 rating points in his next 4 games against relatively week opponents.
Our prediction is that Rooney’s score will increase to more than 160 points after the game against West Ham United. If he scores on top of United’s victories, a return to the World Top 23 cannot be excluded. Rooney is now 27.12 points from the foot of the Top 23.
