Wolfsburg’s Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko (pictured right) has been unable to score a single goal in his last 4 games, and when the German champions take on CSKA Moscow in Game 2 of the Champions League group stage tonight, he will need by all means to score at least a goal if he wants to break the stalemate in the FTBL rankings.
Dzeko, who until recently was the world’s #1 striker in the FTBL ranking, now has an overall score of just 154.43 points. He will go into tonight’s game in Moscow with a plank of around 23 rating points to beat in the FTBL system, a plank he set in the 3:0 win over Turkey’s Besiktas J.K..
Wolfsburg need a win or draw tonight to advance, while CSKA need only a victory to belie their hopes of a berth to the knockout stage of the competition.
