Shakhtar’s Luiz Adriano Could Quickly Regain Lost Ground

Shakhtar Donetsk’s Brazilian Luiz Adriano was more likely than not to drop in the FTBL ranking after the Ukrainian league game against Tavriya Simferopol; he went in with an almost forbidding plank of more than 31 rating points to beat in the FTBL system, a wrenchingly difficult task in a Category 2 league.

The one-time UEFA Cup winner still netted a brace. Yet he went on to drop more than 11 rating points in our system and slid down to 2nd place in the FTBL ranking of strikers in the league.

But Adriano can regain lost ground as early as December 3 against Club Brugge in the Europa League: The tournament is Category 4 in the FTBL system, with consequently higher bonuses. For example, the result of the game against Tavriya in the Europa League would have earned Luiz Adriano more than 25 rating points. And the Brazilian will face a plank of just 2.5 rating points to beat against Brugge.
