Atlético Madrid’s Argentina international Sergio Agüero scored twice in his side’s 4:0 trashing of Espanyol in La Liga yesterday to see his FTBL score soar past that of any other Argentine player at the moment.
The brace netted Agüero more than 30 rating points in the FTBL system, taking his tally to 167.71 points, more than any other Argentine player (irrespective of position) at the moment. Barcelona’s prodigy Lionel Messi, who had the highest FTBL score until yesterday, incurred a loss despite the Catalans’ 1:0 home win over rivals Real Madrid. He now has a tally of 160.78 points.
In the meantime, Agüero has also climbed to the top of our world ranking of U-21 players.
