Bayern Munich’s Germany international Mario Gómez had a good weekend, with a 2:1 win over Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga that added 20 points to his overall FTBL score, boosting it to 153.69 points.
In the coming Champions League group stage game against Juventus, which will decide whether the Germans progress into the knockout stage of the competition, Gómez will face a low plank of just 0.95 rating points to beat in the FTBL system.
If the Germans come out on top, Gómez could break into the World Top 23, while even a draw, even though it would not secure qualification, will still yield a precious gain in rating points. A loss will result just in a small loss for the German international.
