Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has exited the FTBL World Top 23 after conceding 3 goals against Everton yesterday, and he could go on to lose the top spot in the Premier League ranking as early as this evening to Liverpool’s José Reina (pictured).
Cech dropped approximately 16 rating points in the FTBL system after the 3:3 draw against Everton and is now ahead of Reina by just 3.69 points. In the meantime, Reina will face a plank of just 4 points to beat in tonight’s game against Arsenal. Reina can be stopped only if the disappointing stats the Reds have against the Gunners proved true again: they have won only one of their last 7 games against Arsene Wenger’s men.
Nonetheless, Reina will remain in pole position even if Liverpool go down tonight: in the following game against Wigan Athletic, he will face another low plank of 4 rating points, while Cech will have to clear a bar of 14.6 points against Portsmouth. Therefore, Reina’s task tonight will be to concede as little as possible. The last time Arsenal played Liverpool, they won with 4 goals from Russian international Andrei Arshavin.
