Serie A: Cagliari’s Alessandro Matri Claims 3rd Spot in Ranking of Forwards

Cagliari’s Alessandro Matri scored one the goals in the 3:3 draw at home against Napoli yesterday in the Serie A, picking up approximately 20 rating points in the FTBL system to claim the 3rd place in our ranking of Italian forwards.

Matri, who has scored in 7 games in a row, now has a score of 147.51 points. His FTBL score has increased by more than 80 points in those games, and he could have added even more but Cagliari lost 2 of those 7 games and drew 1. Matri has never before climbed so high in the FTBL ranking since its inception.

The Cagliari forward will face a plank of approximately 16 rating points in his next game, which means will have to score again to beat it.
