Belarus’ BATE Borisov yesterday defeated battling Everton at Goodison Park with a single successful strike by defender Aleksandr Yurevich (1:0). Though the victory did not qualify the Belarusians to the next stage of the competition, Yurevich (in yellow shirt) can take comfort in the fact that he now sits at the top of the FTBL ranking of Belarusian defenders with a score of 43.77 points.
Yurevich was rewarded with a solid 22.53 rating points in the FTBL system for the winner. The top 3 players in our ranking of Belarusian defenders are from BATE: Igor Shitov is 2nd with 36.28 points, while Sergey Sosnovskiy is 3rd with 26.63 points.
