Manchester United star Wayne Rooney faces the risk of dropping out of the top 6 in the FTBL world ranking of strikers by the end of the year.
Despite having a score of 202.43 points at the moment and being the No.4 striker in the world in the FTBL ranking, Rooney could drop substantially in the final 2 games of the year in the English Premier League.
In the first of those games, at No. 17 Hull City, Rooney will face a daunting plank of 43.60 rating points to beat in our system, the result of his hat-trick in the 4:1 win over Portsmouth. The second game will be against No. 19 West Ham United at Old Trafford on Dec 30, in which Rooney will face an equally daunting plank to beat (23.04 points). It is clear that escaping unscathed out of those two games will be extremely hard.
Rooney’s nearest rival at the moment, Chelsea’s Didier Drogba (170.28 points), will have a much easier task in his last two games, which puts him in a position to overtake the England international.
