Wayne Rooney scored one of the goals against Burnley yesterday and almost beat the high plank he faced in the game; his overall FTBL score fell just slightly (2.55 points), which puts him in excellent position to try and re-claim the top spot in the world ranking of forwards.
Rooney will face a plank of just 1 point to beat in the next game against No.17 Hull City, whom the Red Devils easily defeated 3:1 in their first encounter of this season.
Rooney scored one of the goals and picked up 23.9 points. A similar result in the coming game will allow him to easily overtake the current leader in the world ranking of forwards, Bayern Munich’s Mario Gómez, especially considering that Gómez will have to “defend” more than 20 points in the game against No.6 Werder Bremen.
