Spain international Cesc Fàbregas returned in the top 8 of the FTBL world ranking of midfielders after inspiring Arsenal to a 2:0 away win at Bolton Wanderers last Sunday. He picked up 32.55 rating points in our system after scoring the opener.
Fàbregas now has an overall FTBL score of 150.09 points and is now the 7th best midfielder in the world in our ranking.
In the ranking of Spanish midfielders Fàbregas is 2nd behind Barcelona’s Xavi (199.54 points). In the English Premier League, he is also 2nd, behind Chelsea’s Frank Lampard (200.90 points).
