Romanian forward Adrian Mutu struck twice to help Fiorentina achieve a 3:2 win over Lazio in the Coppa Italia. The brace allowed him to claim the 2nd spot in the FTBL ranking of strikers in the Italian Serie A, with a score of 167.53 points, just behind Inter Milan’s Cameroon star Samuel Eto’o (191.61 points).
Mutu added approximately 30 rating points in the FTBL system in yesterday’s game alone. The low plank he faced in the game was instrumental here.
In the coming Serie A game against No. 6 Palermo, Mutu will face a plank of approximately 18 rating points to beat. He set the plank in the 5:2 win over Hungary's Debrecen in the group stage of the Champions League with a goal. If he can score against Palermo, he could post the biggest gain of the week. He has added approximately 45 points just in the last few days!
