Ghana reached the final in the African Nations Cup thanks to a goal by Rennes forward Asamoah Gyan (left) in the 21st minute. It was Gyan’s 3rd in the tournament. He earned approximately 10 points in the FTBL system to boost his overall score to 79.32 points.

Gyan now goes into the final against Egypt with a guaranteed bonus of 4.37 points, compensation for Rennes’ 0:2 loss to Sochaux in the French Ligue 1.

Asamoah’s FTBL score peaked at 90 points a month ago. If Ghana win the Cup, he is bound to add substantially.

The Ghana international is currently 150th in our world ranking of forwards. He is also currently the highest rated forward at Rennes in our system.
