PSV Eindhoven’s André Ooijer (left) consolidated the lead over his most immediate rivals in the FTBL ranking of defenders in the Dutch league by adding 76.22 points in the game against FC Utrecht.
The gain could prove very timely; Ooijer will face a plank of 11.95 points to beat in his next game, which makes a loss of points almost certain. Even a goalless win will earn him just 9.3 points.
PSV will be taking on relegation-threatened Den Haag. The quality of the opposition might help Ooijer keep his losses to a minimum. PSV have won all of their last 10 encounters against Den Haag.
