Should You Keep Ibrahimovic on Your Fantasy Team?

Fantasy owners who bought Barcelona star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic into their teams ahead of yesterday’s game against Getafe misfired. The Sweden international proved unable, again, to find the net, and coach Guardiola was forced to take him out right after half-time.

Without a goal and just 50 minutes of game time, Ibrahimovic picked up just 8.36 points. His overall FTBL score shed more than 12 points (184.49 points). He has now exited our World Top 23 for the first time after a long presence.

Whether to keep the Swede in your virtual team is not going to be an easy call. His plank to beat in the next game against still-struggling Atlético Madrid will be just 6.5 points. Yet he hasn’t scored a single goal in 5 straight games. But the plank is so low that his overall score will still improve even if he fails again to score goals. Barcelona made quick work of Atletico in the first-round game 5:2.
