AC Milan forward Filippo Inzaghi's season looks to be over as he has damaged cruciate knee ligaments after an accident during the Italian Serie A match against Palermo at San Siro stadium in Milan November 10, 2010.

Inzaghi, 37, was injured 15 minutes after entering as a substitute in a 3:1 win over Palermo that lifted AC Milan to the first position in Serie A. Tests on Thursday showed the damage, which will require surgery.

Veteran striker made eight short appearances this season (less than three full games based on minutes played) but scored four goals.
