Rules

Core of the game. Become a manager of one of the teams. Managing the squad of your team, replay all the matches of the selected season (or just the second leg).

Aim of the game. Set up or improve the record of your team performance in the selected season.

Prizes.

How to play. Having picked a team, you get all the performances of all the players which have played for the team in the mentioned season. Every performance of one or another player is estimated in the FTBL Rating points.

Before the beginning of each match you should choose the formation and fill it with the players – more precisely, rating performances – you picked.

Each rating performance of a player can be used only once. Use them carefully: your aim is to spread the strength through the whole season.

Thus you form 4 position lines for every match: 3-5 defenders, 3-6 midfielders, 1-4 forwards, and the substitutes. You can substitute as many players as your opponent sent off the pitch during a prototype match.

Attention: the red triangle mark indicates the players with the number of unused performances equals (or exceeds) the number of remaining matches. This means that it is recommended to use these players, or at the end of the championship they will have unspent performance (and, on the other hand, someone will have not enough of them).

If by the end of the tournament you exhaust your resources and as a result will not be able to form at least one of the lines (including the bench), you will be credited with a loss on forfeit.

Match calculations. First, the system calculates the teams’ Totals, or the sum of ratings of all the players who took part in the match. The minimum value of your team’s Total = 1 (rounded off by the system).

Then, the players’ ratings in one position line are summed up – and compared to the similar amounts of the opposing team, multiplied by the ratio of opponent’s Total to the Total of your team.

The goalies “confrontation” goalies is calculated just in the same way.

Lead in a position line = 1 goal.

Opponent team forming. The opponent team’s squad is based on its players who participated in a real prototype match. The squad can be modified though – the system includes several footballers’ performance that didn’t play the prototype match (The total of players in the bid is 17). Furthermore, depending on the venue where the team plays (home or away) the system will chose the more attacking or defensive tactics.

Maximum values that can be scored by opponent in each of the position lines and the probability of the tactics to score these maximums are shown under the team’s squad.

Important: to put in the table of records the high score you achieved, please press “Fix the result” button when championship ends.
